This lively looking mandola was a gift by a very good friend. She remembers playing it when younger so that would put it somewhen in the 70s/80s. Though it could be older.
There are no marks inside or out to determine provenance. The bowl bands are much larger suggesting an entry-level instrument.
There is some separation of the neck and the body, bending the joint back somewhat so that the action is unplayably high. Unless I fix it, there;’s little to be done here other than admire.
There is no case.
