Another random donation to the home — it goes like this — my daughter had been studying violin ( on a not quite permanently donated violin) which required her to stay after school one day a week for lessons.
Because her school doesn’t have regular bus service, nearly all kids are picked up by their parents, and many try to carpool/rideshare. We were approached by a much older student (not sure why us….but….) and it was agreed that we’d ensure she got home from school – with the caveat that one day of the week it would be later than usual.
Not too long after this arrangement started, the girl, who had herself studied, gave us her violin. It is definitely a student model, and had an issue with the A tuner peg and a slight seam separation which I had addressed at Rutman’s Violin Shop. Came with a hard case and two bows — one of which Mr. Rutman says is of decent make.
