1968 Alfonso Checa Bandurria

This little nugget came to the home in a box of various and sundry instruments from longtime friend of the home Jason Bash.

The Bandurria is the Spanish equivalent of a Mandolin/Mandola, but has 12 strings and is tuned in 4ths. Unsure of the woods involved, but its has a bright, balanced tone. Has its original hard-shell case and the excellent bridge cover appointment ‘The Year of the Meatloaf’.
